Marsh USA

Marsh USA is located in downtown Seattle in the Rainier Tower building along Fifth Avenue. The company has 113 employees at this location. Marsh has been involved in trip reduction efforts from the beginning of the CTR program in 1993.

In 2008, the company decided to support all their local colleagues with an ORCA Business Passport program to encourage employees to get to work efficiently and economically. In the Seattle office, the business case was made successfully to discontinue reimbursement for local parking and then to move and utilize those funds for an ORCA program designed for all employees. This is a creative solution and helps the city environment by reducing congestion and removing vehicles from the highway.

Marsh’s latest survey results demonstrate that the current drive alone is 12.7%! Congratulations on your success.

*Some definitions: An "ETC" is the staff-level employee transportation coordinator responsible for the daily administration of the transportation program. "SOV" stands for single-occupant vehicle, and "CTR" for commute trip reduction.
