Wendy Weaver and Sandra Sinclair are two long time employee transportation coordinators who have worked tirelessly with enthusiasm and dedication to promote and support the commute trip reduction program for the Boeing Company. The Puget Sound Pre-Tax Program was designed and implemented in 2008. Within King County, Boeing has 15 worksites with 36,374 employees with a participation rate in King County of 44% of employees.

Wendy and Sandra organized and completed 30 presentation sessions to Puget Sound employees for vanpool and public transportation users to introduce the Pre-Tax program, which is administered by an outside vendor. Targeted events were held specifically for vanpool drivers and bookkeepers. The communications plan is comprehensive and focuses on alternatives to driving alone for cleaner air.
