T-Mobile continues to be a leader in reducing commute trips by providing a free custom FlexPass for employees to use on Metro, Community and Pierce Transit as well as Sound Transit and for vanpool and vanshare use. The long term financial commitment and management support for the commute program continues to reap excellent results for T-Mobile. Izzy Parker uses innovative and interesting promotional activities to promote the alternatives to employees. In 2008, Izzy built a business best practice case for an internal ridematch system with a carbon footprint tracking ability. Izzy worked with her management to focus on the bicycling population last year, resulting in the building of a secure bike cage for 20 bikes for employees on site. Izzy’s enthusiasm and energy for her program deserves our recognition. Congratulations!
