2002

Recognition for the 2002 winners...

Diamond Award winners are recognized for their vision and "can do" spirit in this year's advertising campaign. Promotional materials remind us that "Leader see solutions... where others see only problems." Campaign graphics reflect this theme with colorful, whimsical illustrations that appear in all printed materials, as well as on TheWinners.com.

Radio Advertising
Radio spots began airing Wednesday, January 22, 2003 on three of the region's most highly regarded and popular radio stations. Commercial radio stations KIRO 710 AM and KING 98.1 FM and public radio station KUOW 94.9 FM will air nearly 400 announcements during a four-week period, with many of these spots featured during morning and evening drive times. Each announcement highlights a few of this year's 15 Diamond winners, with the announcements running in rotation so that all winners are recognized equally.

Copies of the 2002 Diamond Awards program brochure were mailed to more than 1,800 transportation decision-makers in the business and public sectors. The brochure features all Diamond Award, Diamond Ring and Pacesetter winners for 2002.

In addition, nearly 1,000 business executives in King County will receive a special mailing packet that includes the brochure, as well as an unusual and informative promotional item that will provide some fun and challenges for recipients!
